On 28 July 2017, LKY School Philippines Alumni Chapter and Singapore Ambassador to the Philippines organised a send-off and welcome gathering for LKY School scholars.
In her speeches, both Ambassador Kok Li Peng and Lyndon Daz (Chapter President) warmly welcomed the alumni and new students. Ambassador Kok encouraged the new students to explore Singapore and to try Singapore's delicious hawker food.
