This session offers students the opportunity to gain an understanding of what working at the UN and more specifically, in the UN Jakarta office, is like. Our speaker, Mr. Douglas Broderick, will give an overview of the UN Office in Indonesia, the priority projects and international development efforts undertaken by his office as well as the kind of competencies he is looking for in interns and graduates from public policy schools. He will also share his views on what early careerists and mid career professionals, who are interested to pursue a career with international organisations like the UN, should know about this field of work.
A light lunch will be provided after the Q&A session.
