On 24 June 2019, LKYSPP Beijing Alumni Chapter organised a Bon Voyage gathering with alumni and some of the newly admitted students in Beijing, during the visit of Professor Tan Yong Soon and Louis Low, Coordinating Head of Regions at LKYSPP. At the gathering, alumni welcomed the new students and shared their experiences at LKY School with them.
At the event of the gathering, Mr Wang Kejian, President of Beijing Alumni Chapter, presented his new book
City Construction to Professor Tan. This book is a rigorous scientific argument for China’s contemporary urban construction, development and urbanisation. It is also an outlook on new concepts of the construction of livable cities, the development of smart cities and the construction of sponge cities, etc..
