The programme runs for a maximum of six months.

This is designed to be a full-time programme, as research requires a considerable amount of time.

While we would encourage you to commit your time fully to working on your project in the programme, you have the discretion to manage your time in the manner which you prefer.

The deliverables are:

  • Your research project or your reflection piece on a completed public policy initiative you were involved in.
  • A write-up on your programme experience.
  • Organise at least one interaction session for academics/researchers from LKYSPP and your colleagues from the Public Service to exchange ideas on public policy issues of mutual interest or about your research project.

We expect many of the benefits of the programme to accrue in the form of learning and knowledge sharing. The insights generated through your research or reflection piece should have some relevance to the work of your organisation, and can be shared with your colleagues and the leadership team. Through the programme, you will also build links to academics and researchers in LKYSPP, which your organisation can tap on to build up its intellectual capital.
