Recognized by IEEE, ITU, and global associations, MVERS will be crucial for centralized exchanges to assess risk before listing tokens.

Economics Design is seeking a talented individual who possesses infinite curiosity. You'll partner with our lead economist to create groundbreaking thought-leadership pieces. This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of the world we live in. This is a contract position with the potential to extend to a full-time role
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the literature review part of the research, reading academic papers and articles on web3 to both support our methodology as well as to place our contributions in the scope of a broader discussion.
- Help perform data cleaning, data transformation and data analysis, using statistical software tools. Generate descriptive statistics, graphs and tables to summarize large data sets and illustrate our findings.
- Collaborate with the team on defining the methodology for our studies. Share the perspectives that your skillset brings to the problems we seek to tackle.
- Collaborate with the team on coding and building risk models, running regressions, robustness checks and forecasts.
- Help prepare the in-depth case studies using our developed model.
- Help run the tests to validate the implementation of the model once it becomes operational.
- Help document our findings and prepare the final report of the research.
Qualifications
- Current students pursuing a postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field are encouraged to apply
- Experience in risk analysis, while not required, is a huge plus. Specifically, professional experience in one of the following: credit risk, market risk, or investment risk.
- Strong familiarity with web3 platforms and protocols. An ideal candidate is familiar with the details of how the largest platforms operate and what are the latest developments in the field.
- Familiarity with at least one statistical programming language and basic economics, game theory and statistical inference.
- Singaporean citizen or PR preferred. Exceptions made for outstanding foreign students
