Key Qualifications

• Candidate must be located in Tokyo for the duration of the internship
• Interest in Japanese politics and policy, as well as international business
• Excellent research and critical thinking skills
• Self-starter who can make decisions and take action without being told
• Japanese reading and writing skills (preferred)
• English reading and writing skills (preferred)
• Proficiency with social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. a plus
• Must be located in Tokyo for the duration of the internship

Responsibility

• Research and analyze public policy
• Write, edit, and proof policy and market reports
• Work with us in communicating with key stakeholders, including government officials, Diet members, academics, and media
• Help ensure client satisfaction
• Assist in translation
• Participate in marketing and sales activities, including social media management
• General administrative support

Education

• Currently enrolled or graduated from a bachelor degree program or higher, with a preferred focus on public policy, political science, economics, international relations, or a related field
• Equivalent work experience will also be considered
