Role

SHEIN’s Public Relations team is looking to bring on board high-potential, self-motivated and driven undergraduate or graduate students who can commit to full-time internships for a minimum of three months. The intern will support the PR team in content development, media monitoring of news and current affairs, proposing social media strategies, assist with event planning and coordination, as well as execution of key new initiatives.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Support public relations and outreach to media and strategic stakeholders:
  • Execute strategic communications plans to support SHEIN’s corporate positioning and profiling, including development of communications collaterals and content.
  • Propose social media strategies to help amplify SHEIN’s corporate messaging to a larger audience.
  • Maintain list of key media contacts
  • Monitor news and current affairs which may impact SHEIN. Learning Objectives
  • Able to understand/identify the importance of news and current affairs development on the business.
  • Strategic messaging - tailoring communications and messages for target audience
  • Project management skills
  • Communication skills - written and verbal communication

     

    Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary or Graduate student pursuing a degree or diploma in any of the following fields: Communications, Business, Public Relations, Digital Media, Media Studies, Journalism, Social Science, or other relevant courses.

  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong analytical, presentation (written and oral) and project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong self-starter and proactive attitude, with the ability to work through constraints and deliver high-quality results.
  • Must have authorisation to work in Singapore.
