Tan Cheng Peng (MPM 2004), Director (Special Projects) of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, assumed his role as Executive Director-Designate of Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) on 1 August 2021 and then as Executive Director from 1 September 2021.
