Dean's Commendation for Teaching Excellence AY2023/24

6 Feb 2025

Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) started calendar year 2025 with a round of recognition to the faculty members who have made an impact to students in the previous academic year. The inaugural Dean’s Commendation for Teaching Excellence recognises and celebrates exceptional teaching at our School. This award aims to broaden the recognition of teaching excellence by highlighting outstanding educators across various courses.

We are proud to announce the 12 faculty members who have earned this prestigious recognition:

Said Assistant Professor Saravana Ravindran, an award recipient and co-chair of the Faculty Teaching Excellence Committee (FTEC): “This is the first time we’re holding such an award, as we wanted to recognise, reward, and celebrate teaching excellence among our colleagues based on standardised metrics from the student feedback exercise.”

Added Assistant Dean and Senior Lecturer Andrew Francis-Tan, also a recipient and the other co-chair of FTEC: “Teaching is a cornerstone of our school's mission, so we are proud to honour our most distinguished course instructors with this new award. ”

The School wishes them all congratulations for their commitment to excellence in teaching. Let’s celebrate and share their success!
