World Bank and IPS Conference on "Cross-Border Labour Mobility and Development in the East Asia and Pacific Region"

IPS will be co-hosting a conference on “Cross-Border Labour Mobility and Development in the East Asia and Pacific Region” with the World Bank on 1-2 June 2010 at the Orchard Hotel. This conference will review papers on the experiences from labour migrant sending and receiving countries. These include Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore. There will be a publication from the conference.
