The 30-member Committee on the Future Economy (CFE) comprises members from diverse backgrounds – from different industries both global and local, enterprises both small and large, and from the public as well as private sector. Many more members form the five sub-committees of the CFE, tasked to review and make recommendations in the key areas of future growth industries and markets, corporate capabilities and innovation, jobs and skills, urban development and infrastructure, and connectivity. The CFE has worked in consultation with trade associations, chambers, business and thought leaders from Singapore and abroad over the past year and will soon deliver its report.
How will its recommendations keep our economy competitive and position Singapore for the future? What are the strategies for growth that will transform our economy and keep it vibrant and resilient? Will it create good opportunities and jobs for Singapore and Singaporeans for generations to follow?
