On January 7th, 2019, the Centre on Asia and Globalisation (CAG) hosted a five member delegation from the China Council for BRICS Think Tank Cooperation (CCBTC) for a closed door discussion. Views were exchanged regarding topics such as the prospects of regional economic integration, opportunities and challenges for China's Belt and Road Initiative, the security situation in the South China Sea and the US Indo-Pacific Strategy, etc.
