Breakfast with Dr Dan Steinbock on "The Global Economy in 2011: An Impending Perfect Storm?"

While there seem to be green shoots of recovery in the US, the brewing crises in Europe, quantitative easing, China’s currency exchange rates, rising food prices and other markers, seem to indicate that we may be heading towards turbulent times. What can China and US do to stabilise the global economy? Will Europe drag down the gradual global recovery? What about the rising cost of food and commodities? What will the global economy look like in 2011? Dr Dan Steinbock, Research Director of International Business at the India, China and America Institute (USA) and Fellow in Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (China) will be sharing his perspective on the global economic trends at this breakfast.
