Job Description
The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Public Administration/Public Management. We are especially interested in candidates with research and teaching expertise in public budgeting and finance, social policy and administration, leadership in public service, decentralisation and local governance, and Technology/AI.
Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- a PhD conferred by 1 August 2026 in the fields of public administration, public management, public policy, political science, or a related discipline at the time of appointment;
- publications in quality peer-reviewed journals in their field and/or a strong pipeline of working papers;
- a clear research identity and trajectory to become an independent scholar;
- research that is relevant to contemporary issues in Asia and/or Southeast Asia;
- demonstrated ability to teach core and specialized courses in the public policy school environment; and
- a willingness and ability to mentor graduate students.
