We provide expert analysis of public policy issues, strategies for engaging government and other key stakeholders, independent appraisals of political risk, and strategic communications counsel. Our clients are major multinationals, business associations, and non-governmental organizations.

We are offering undergraduates the opportunity to work with our regional consultants in Singapore in a challenging and dynamic work environment with exposure to multiple industry sectors, in a young and growing consulting firm. Internships during the semester will be credited under the FASS Internship programme. We are also open to candidates on a leave of absence.

Our ideal candidate will be an effective analyst, skilled at carrying out research on a wide variety of issues relevant to clients, writing reports, and possessing strong communication, organizational, and teamwork-related skills.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor regulatory developments and current events for industries such as tech, healthcare, renewable energy and more.
  • Conduct research on a wide variety of regulatory and economic issues, in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.
  • Assist in the preparation of analytical reports and presentations.
  • Work with/support team members around the region to deliver work for regional clients.
  • Participate in meetings and presentations to clients.

 

Qualifications:

  • Applicants should have completed at least their second year in university, and demonstrate a deep interest and knowledge in Southeast Asia politics and economy.
  • Applicants must be Singapore citizens, PRs or have valid student visas.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in a Southeast Asia language is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Motivated self-starter and team player.

  • Schedule: Full time
  • Duration: 3-4 months (JAN-MAR/APR)
  • Benefits: Monthly stipend provided
