| | About Us: MORROW Intelligence (MI) is an urban advisory consultancy dedicated to delivering data-led urban policy solutions, driven by city benchmarking methods and foresight tools. Position Description: We are seeking an intern to join our urban advisory consultancy and gain hands-on experience in city benchmarking and data analysis for urban policy development. The intern will work with our team of urban planners, researchers and consultants to conduct research, develop a database of indicators and analyze data to support policy impact assessments for clients (government sector). Responsibilities: - Collect and clean data (including geospatial data) from various sources.
- Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and data visualization tools, to investigate relevant trends, patterns and relationships.
- Apply knowledge on policy, economic and urban development to deliver data insights.
- Assist in the development of databases, frameworks, indices and city benchmarking reports.
- Explore new methodologies to improve liveability measurements.
- Prepare presentations and reports for clients.
Qualifications: - Currently pursuing or have obtained a degree/masters in relevant field of study.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong passion for urban policy and development.
- Proficiencies in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Python, R, SQL, Stata, SPSS) and GIS software (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS) are pluses.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
