The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy’s (LKYSPP) SG Governance & Futures Programme invites you to sign up for our annual Singapore Futures Youth Competition.
Are you ready to shape the future? Inspired by Singapore's Smart Nation 2.0 vision, this year’s competition revolves around the theme of “A Thriving Digital Future for All”. You learn and apply futures thinking and foresight tools to develop scenarios and ideas on how digital technology can empower individuals, strengthen communities and transform industries. Join a community of like-minded youths at the competition – your ideas could be the blueprint for a thriving digital future for all.
The Singapore Futures Youth Competition 2025 is a 4-day in-person event from 17 to 20 June 2025. The competition begins with a 3-day futures thinking workshop run by LKYSPP faculty. You will learn the necessary tools and frameworks to build scenarios and present them to experts and leaders from the public and private sectors on the final day of the competition on 20 June 2025. Through this competition, you will be introduced to public policy challenges and the complexities of the policymaking process. You will also have opportunities to interact with your peers from an array of educational institutes, as well as network with leaders from the public and private sectors.
This competition will be held in person at the Bukit Timah Campus of the National University of Singapore. Participants will have the chance to win prizes worth up to $5,000, receive a certificate of participation and have opportunities to join LKYSPP’s network.
