Panel Discussion

APEC China 2026: Key Updates and Developments

As China hosts APEC in 2026, the region is navigating an increasingly complex economic landscape shaped by trade tensions, supply chain disruptions, technological change and growing uncertainty over the future of Asia-Pacific economic cooperation. This panel discussion will provide timely updates on APEC China 2026, with particular emphasis on the key outcomes of the APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade (MRT) Meeting. Bringing together perspectives from the APEC Secretariat and regional experts, the seminar will examine the priorities emerging from this year’s APEC China 2026 agenda, their implications for economic cooperation and business facilitation, and how APEC can continue to translate its vision of open, dynamic and resilient Asia-Pacific community into practical action.
