Sreeja Nair is an Assistant Professor (Public Policy) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. She studies how governments learn and design policies under long-term uncertainty, with a focus on the role of policy experimentation. Her research examines how policy trials and experimentation shape decision-making around major transitions such as environmental change, climate transitions and digital transformations. She particularly studies these policy processes in the contexts of South Asia and Southeast Asia. She is the author of Rethinking Policy Piloting (Cambridge University Press, 2021) and co-editor of Emerging Pedagogies for Policy Education: insights from Asia (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022) (winner of the NASPAA Outstanding Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Book Award 2024).

Sreeja serves as Associate Editor for the Australian Journal of Public Administration  and on the Editorial Board of Teaching Public Administration. Sreeja holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, MA in Climate and Society from Columbia University and an M.Sc. in Environmental Studies from TERI School of Advanced Studies.
