Global Experience

Class Diversity

Classroom diversity is a critical feature of our programmes. International students make up about 80% of the cohort. This is intentional, so as to inculcate a classroom representative of the global environment. We envision our students to graduate and move on to a career of an international nature, working side-by-side with colleagues of diverse backgrounds and nationalities.

Students from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy also bring back with them an Education in Public Policy that enables them to improve the lives of others in Asia and beyond. These stories are best told from the students’ perspectives, experiences and photos.

Global Partnerships

The LKY School has established a strong network with renowned schools of public policy worldwide. We are the first school in Asia to be admitted into the prestigious Global Public Policy Network (GPPN), founded by Columbia University, Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). As a GPPN member, our School has the exclusive opportunity to take part in:

  • Double degree programmes and student exchanges with fellow GPPN institutions
  • Faculty exchanges and collaborative public policy research and publications
  • Conferences and events that bring together scholars, students and practitioners

Part of the National University of Singapore – ranked #1 in Asia for three consecutive years since the 2014 QS University Rankings, and touted by Forbes as the leading institution among the growing “Asian Ivy League” – our institution affords exceptional opportunities in academic excellence.
