Student Scholarships

LKYSPP offers a number of merit-based scholarships for its master degrees and other programmes. Thanks to generous donations, opportunities remain accessible for students from diverse backgrounds whose means may be limited but whose abilities and ambitions are limitless. The costs associated with housing, transport, study materials and daily expenses present challenges that may undermine the success of our students. Scholarships help ease stresses like these and recognise the achievements of those receiving them. We need your help in order to be able to give more students the assistance they need to excel at LKYSPP.

By establishing an endowed scholarship fund, you will:

• establish a permanent fund named after family and/or friends
• create a lasting way to aid students as the fund grows

Named Professorships

LKYSPP has a number of named professorships supported by endowed funds made available by our generous donors gifts. Your gift helps us build a community of respected and acclaimed base of faculty talent that can help enrich the academic environment, and scale new frontiers in the areas of public policy and good governance. We welcome donors and benefactors to support new named professorships.

Awards

LKYSPP recognises students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership, community service, and co-curricular involvements. Donations support prizes and awards that celebrate these achievements through medals and cash prizes, encouraging students to pursue excellence and make meaningful contributions to society.

Funding Research Projects

Gifts supporting research projects don't just allow the School to carry out studies and strengthen research activities. The gifts help disseminate the knowledge and lessons learned from research findings to policy makers and practitioners so that they can have access to evidence-based research that are relevant to Singapore, Asia and the world. We can match your funding objectives to projects of a thematic focus that are important to you. In this way, you can be assured that your donations, contribution or endowment will support research endeavours of your preference. The following is a selection of our current funding projects.

Funding Research Centres

As a research-intensive institution, LKYSPP is committed to advancing impactful research that informs public policy, enriches our graduate and executive education programmes, and addresses emerging global challenges. Your gift will support our four research centres, providing faculty and students with the resources to pursue innovative ideas, influence policy, and develop solutions that benefit communities across the region and beyond. With your support, our research centres can generate greater impact and drive meaningful solutions to the world's most pressing challenges.

Class Giving

Contributions to the LKYSPP Class Giving Fund play a crucial role in helping students in need receive a holistic education.

The Fund supports two main areas:

• Emergency needs for students who experience immediate financial hardship due to unexpected events.
• Bursary for financially challenged students who do not qualify for scholarships.

Student Welfare

By supporting student welfare, you will help ease some of our students’ burdens as they pursue their studies at LKYSPP. Contributions to this fund are channelled to the Pomelo Fund, which aims to provide meal allowances to students from low-income families who are experiencing financial difficulties and staying at the School’s on campus accommodation.
