Position: Internship (Project Assistants Role) Department: Media Programme AsiaTimeline: 2 - 4 Months (March 2025 – July 2025)

Between 15 March 2022 to 15 July 2022, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Singapore Office will beoffering a two-month internship for university or graduate students in the Media Programme Asia Team(KASMPA). The interns will be part of the different programmes focused on media development and political communciation. The aim of this internship programme is to provide practical training,professional knowledge, and relevant skills in the field of international relations, regional cooperation, research, and programme management. Requirements for the interns are personal commitment, team orientation, support of democratic values, and academic background in political and social sciences, international relations, public policy, and law will be preferred. Most of the internships at KAS are unpaid, but for this internship we are offering an honorarium with SGD 20 hourly rate. Upon completion of the internship, a certificate about the internship will be awarded.

Responsibilities: Internship does not replace a regular position but treated as regular employees concerning the quality of the given tasks in order to ensure the success of the programme. The scope of work sometimes requires discretion and sensitivity considering the nature of topics to work on. The general responsibilities of the intern are the following, but not limited to:
1.Assist in the research and organization of the Asian Conference for Political Communication.
2.Support the writing and publication of the conference reports.
3.Gather evidence to support the preparation of programme publications and backgroundmaterials.
4.Provide support in the production of publicity materials and for dissemination of programme activities on social media (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn).

Deliverables:
1.Conference reports of the programmes organized.
2.Research outputs relating to the programme.
3.Programme flyers and posts on programmes’ social media.
4.Presentation of final outputs and internship report.
Requirements:
1.Research experience both in quantitative and quality methods
2.Strong English writing and communication skills
3.Team player and can work independently with less supervision
4.Time conscious in meeting deadlines
5.Proficient in MS office programs and Adobe programs
