The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) is a defense and security think tank that has a deep understanding of regional geopolitics and geo-economics in a global context. Its international researchers provide best-in-class independent and impartial analysis and provide insights on strategic challenges and priorities to governments and the private sector. It is expert at bringing together national leaders and senior policymakers in foreign policy, defense and security; promoting dialogue; and facilitating effective and influential bilateral and multilateral consultations.
The Cyber Power and Future Conflict (CPFC) Program explores global strategic competition and future warfare, with a focus on emerging cyber strategies and emerging and disruptive technologies. While the CPFC program is based in Singapore, its research scope is global. The intern would report to the Senior Fellow for Cyber Power and Future Conflict.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate would ideally be able to start from 1 April 2026 although we are willing to accept a start date as late as 4 May 2026. The internship duration is 3 months. The role would be remunerated at $1,200 SGD per month.
