Internship at the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF): Education Department
Description
The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) is an intergovernmental not for profit organisation based in Singapore and operating in 51 countries of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM)1. Education is one of ASEF’s seven key thematic areas.
In this field, we promote knowledge and people-to-people exchanges by connecting youth leaders, student and university leaders, educators, and policymakers from among our countries in Asia and Europe. We create sustainable networks and collaborations among them by organising hybrid trainings, conferences, policy dialogues, and research.
We are looking for an intern to work with us on a comparative research paper on the topic of Science and Technology Diplomacy in Asia and Europe.
Role and responsibilities
1. Support the data collection process through liaising with country informants, answering content and methodology related inquiries.
2. Support the analysis of the collected quantitative and qualitative data.
3. Support the writing process of the report.
4. Advise on communications campaign to disseminate the results.
Requirements
1. BA or MA students in public policy or international relations of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), National University of Singapore (NUS). 2. You are a citizen of any of the 51 ASEM Partner Countries.
3. Previous work in the field of science and technology diplomacy will count as an advantage.
