Academic Excellence

Gifts in support of academic excellence help strengthen the impact of our academic programmes, improve student outcomes and fund professorships. Your gift helps promote a culture of excellence beyond what the LKY School alone can achieve.

Student Scholarships

The LKY School offers a number of merit-based scholarships for its master degrees and other programmes. Thanks to generous donations, opportunities remain accessible for students from diverse backgrounds whose means may be limited but whose abilities and ambitions are limitless. The costs associated with housing, transport, study materials and daily expenses present challenges that may undermine the success of our students. Scholarships help ease stresses like these and recognise the achievements of those receiving them.

We need your help in order to be able to give more students the assistance they need to excel at the LKY School.

By establishing an endowed scholarship fund, you will:

  • establish a permanent fund named after family and/or friends
  • create a lasting way to aid students as the fund grows

You may consider supporting the developmental costs of these newly introduced academic programmes:

  • Lee Kuan Yew Senior Fellowship in Public Service (SF Programme)

This is an intensive and immersive 6-week programme tailored to senior-level leaders in public, private, and non-profit sectors. The programme features a rigorous curriculum with a strong focus on developing leadership and governance competencies, equipping participants with the tools to take on challenges at a global level, and helping advance the role of public, private, and non-profit sectors.

  • Master in International Affairs (MIA)

The two-year programme brings Asia’s role as a key influencer in world affairs to the forefront. The curriculum provides students with a strong foundation in theoretical frameworks and practical knowledge of the multi-disciplinary subfields of international relations, along with an immersive experience in Asia.

Every gift from our donor is a purposeful beginning in sowing the seeds for us to train and educate future generations of capable leaders. With your support, these leaders will be diligently nourished and grow into impactful luminaries that can improve standards of governance and positively impact the world.
