On 1 April 2021, Wang Xiongchang, who graduated from Master in Public Administration and Management programme in 2012, was appointed Acting Mayor of Qinzhou City, a prefecture-level city in Guangxi, China.
Xiongchang is also holding the positions as Deputy Secretary of the Qinzhou Municipal Party Committee, Party Secretary of the Government of Qinzhou, and the Deputy Secretary of the Working Committee of the Qinzhou Port Area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
