03 Mar 2026 To 17 Mar 2026
3 Tuesday Evenings, 3, 10 & 17 March 2026
Professional Development Course on Communications (PDCC) is a new initiative by the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) designed to build workplace-ready communication skills among students and public participants.
PDCC2: Behavioral Communication Strategies for Public Policy Professionals is the second of two standalone modules. While participants may choose to enroll in either PDCC1 or PDCC2 independently, those who complete both will earn a Professional Certificate in Communications. There is no prerequisite to complete PDCC1 before PDCC2.
This course focuses on developing communication strategies and distilling them into nimble communications plans. It covers content development, media relations, and the use of social media platforms to communicate organizational goals effectively.
Participants will learn and apply behavioural science principles in the context of consumption of communications across different media platforms and formats. Through applied learning, group projects, and hands-on exercises, participants will be equipped to lead communications efforts in dynamic and complex environments.
PDCC 2 is for both students and working professionals looking to enhance their strategic communication skills.
Please note that seats are limited, and acceptance is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will close once capacity is reached.
