About The Programme

Going digital is now a competitive necessity as it infiltrates into every industry domain and organisation, large or small. Yet, waves of new technologies continue to emerge and threaten disruptions to established organisations and even more so to traditional ones. As a new age astute leader, it is important to be able to battle world shaking technological disruptions.  It is vital for a leader to have a good understanding of advance technologies and be able to work with them to bring about positive gains.   A leader should also be able to lead and inspire teams, to discover new insights and find creative solutions in the digital world.  The programme aims to help young leaders develop a mindset of seeing wide and looking deep critical for success in the digital era.

What You Gain

Upon completion of this programme, participants will be able to:

💡 enhance their ability to manage with competence and lead teams effectively;

💡 acquire tools to cultivate personal fulfillment as a leader in a digital age;

💡 learn about the ways in which organisations have successfully integrated cutting edge digital technologies into their operations through digital transformation.

Who is it For

Suitable for current undergraduate and postgraduate students who wish to strengthen their leadership capabilities for driving success in a highly complex and ever-changing digital era.

Students should also have a good command of spoken and written English.

What to expect:

Participants will attend 5 discussion driven workshops over 5 days:

Leading a High Performing Team
The journey to effective leadership often begins with understanding yourself and others.  The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) could offer a structured path to understanding it.  In this session, participants will learn to uncover their temperament so as to work better with others.

Leading Digital Transformation
The emergence of digital technologies such as generative AI and blockchain has given rise to significant disruptions to economies across the world. At the same time, these developments offer powerful opportunities for leaders. Drawing from case studies in leading smart cities such as Singapore, Boston and Zurich, we will discuss the principles of effective digital transformation.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applications
The commercial world is adopting AI in a variety of ways to improve efficiencies, save time and decrease costs. With constant and rapid advancements, organisations are turning to AI as the fix to becoming more nimble and productive.  This session will demystify AI and discuss how organisations can employ AI sensibly and effectively.

Marketing and Corporate Branding
Marketing is the life blood of every human being, company, institution and country. It enables streams of revenue which helps to yield profits and competitive advantage. Where countries are concerned, effective marketing generates investment and economic benefits. Branding enables individuals and organisations to stand out among the competition. This session will enable participants to glean best practices of world class marketing and brand management and adopt a strategic approach to marketing and branding sustainable “green” products and services.

Youth Leaders in the Digital Economy
Building on the previous sessions, we end with a highly interactive session to foster deep reflections on the ways in which this digital technology-driven era challenges traditional paradigms and business models. After an overview of some of the global trends in the digital economy, we introduce a practical tool for systematic stakeholder analysis. Then, participants apply this tool to a case study related to the digital economy. Finally, we conclude on the role of youth leaders in the digital landscape based on the lessons learned in the entire programme.

💡 We Make Sure You Internalise
Students will be required to complete a specially designed quiz for each topic to test how well they understand the knowledge gained in class.
