The Mastering Behaviour Change programme was truly a coming together of interested minds. The syllabus offered by LKYSPP and Kantar Public were complementary and it was a pleasure to hear from the different speakers. The toolkits provided are useful for those who want to inspire change in their organizations.

The speakers in this programme were great and insightful. As a 2nd time participant in this programme, I was able to learn more about ASEAN geopolitics this time. I also enjoyed networking with the speakers and fellow participants.

This programme is very informative and covers topics such as the ASEAN economies and relevant policies in the region. The speakers also paint a realistic picture of ASEAN nations, which makes it useful for potential investors in the region. I was also able to learn from other business leaders and share about my expertise over the course of this programme.

Overall, the lectures and networking sessions in this programme were great. During the site visit to EHL, we had the opportunity to meet Dr Richard Helfer, the founding Chairman of Raffles International. His expertise and advice were very valuable to me as I am a part of the hotel industry in Japan. I was able to connect with fellow Japanese business leaders. As a new and young CEO, I hesitated to participate in this programme when a former participant suggested this programme to me. However, I really enjoyed this programme and highly recommend young business leaders to join this programme as it is beneficial to meet and learn from other more experienced senior business leaders in Japan.

“The empires of the future are the empires of the mind.” Further to my participation in the Futures for Public Policy course, I feel empowered with the requisite knowledge about technical concepts such as driving forces, inclusivity and focal concern. I also learnt about strategic approaches such as effective change leadership, horizon scanning and talent management, to develop robust public policies, which adequately address futures work issues and contribute to national and global sustainable development. The opportunity to interact with and learn about futures experience from my international colleagues was an amazing and memorable experience. The pace of changes is increasing and disruptive technologies are upsetting the conventional way of doing things. The key to staying afloat in this uncertain world is to emphasise on future-proofing our infrastructure and processes. To do so, we would need a gauge of what the future beholds. The “Futures for Public Policy” programme offers us an opportunity to learn about structural methodology in trying to “hack” the future. The experienced trainers guided us through step-by-step processes in building different future scenarios which is necessary to aid us in our preparedness. It has indeed been an enriching 4-days with insightful learning.

The Futures Masterclass is great for those who are keen to strengthen their Futures Thinking expertise. The multi-stage processes are intuitive and easy to follow with hands-on exercises to bring the learning to life. The trainers are very experienced and with regular coaching sessions to ensure we are progressing well. The on-demand videos are informative and integrated with live online lectures making it interactive and deepen our learning.
