The future of work is shaped by many powerful forces. If there is a single thread running across the narratives on the future of work, it is that we are moving away from the mechanistic, industrial models of the past to a more fluid, human, and digital future in which our organisations, people and work organically adapt in real time. The ever-expanding portfolio of stakeholders, workforces, work options, workplaces, and strategic futures can no longer be categorised into simple boxes.
Join us as we hear more from our panellists on their thoughts on adapting to this changing world, and what they think of when we talk about the Future of Work.

Co-founder, pluswhat, Singapore
Vicnan is co-founder of pluswhat, an independent consultancy helping a variety of organisations: from global culture and innovation programmes for MNCs, to capability building for startups, to social impact design for NGOs. The work primarily involves engaging cross-functional stakeholders to sensemake, co-create, and build robust systems – be they process, people, or technology. Dovetailing concerns across multiple clients motivated a project on the Future of Careers.
Pluswhat also built a B2B SaaS learning system for professionals to be reflective practitioners and identify what they want to learn, as well as a membership-only library of frameworks, tools, and workshops to upskill professionals.
Vicnan has worked in a variety of contexts and in a variety of functions – having an education spanning filmmaking to philosophy, he has gone from doing strategy in creative agencies to writing code for data science in tech companies. With a journey that appears disjointed to some yet a logical progression to others, he’s been lucky to have had the opportunities to align career with passion in unconventional ways. This has motivated him to figure out how to create similar opportunities for others systemically in companies: he was global head of org strategy at Gojek, led the SEA future of work practice at Deloitte, and is currently the Chief of Staff at Arrow, an early-stage high-growth startup.
