The IPS Social Lab is seeking to hire an Assistant Manager / Manager (Strategic Planning and communications), to provide strategic direction in organisational planning, stakeholder engagement, and communications. The job includes preparing research budget, negotiating and drafting research project contracts, and developing survey panel engagement strategies. Research findings will be packaged for public consumption through corporate and media channels, and social media. This job will suit public officers or communications professionals with a keen interest in policy issues.

Job Summary:

IPS is looking to appoint an Executive (Finance) on a two-year contract basis. The role will be responsible for providing support in finance and budget-related matters and general administrative support. This includes managing research budgets and financial accounts-related matters; processing expenses, travel claims and suppliers’ invoices; handling procurement processes; and providing support in project audit certifications. 
This job will require experience in tracking expenses and preparing financial reports. Knowledge of NUS Sesami and/or SAP systems will be an advantage.

IPS is looking to hire an Executive on a two-year contract for its Donor Relations team. The main responsibilities of the Executive are to assist the Manager and Associate Director with donor acquisitions; gift processing and renewals; event management and coordination; IPS Corporate Associates Programme facilitator liaison; and the stewardship of donors.

The candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s degree, with strong command of written and spoken English, be methodical, organised and a good team player. Fresh graduates with a keen interest in fundraising and events management may also apply.

Job Summary:

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore is seeking applicants for the Yong Pung How Professor at the full professor rank.

The Yong Pung How Professorship, endowed in 2008 by the Yong Shook Lin Trust, honours Mr Yong Pung How, Singapore’s Chief Justice from 1990 to 2006. Mr Yong also served as Chairman and CEO of the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation and held appointments with the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, Monetary Authority of Singapore, and Singapore Broadcasting Corporation. He was conferred Singapore’s highest award, the Order of Temasek (First Class), in 1999.

The Yong Pung How Professor will be a core member of the School’s academic leadership team, working with an interdisciplinary faculty to advance the research and teaching missions of the School. A research focus on Asia is a definite plus.

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore is seeking applicants for the Li Ka Shing Professor in Public Management at the full professor rank.

The LKY School received a generous endowment from Dr. Li Ka Shing in 2007 and has established three professorships with the endowment, representing key research pillars at the School. These professorships are in the areas of Public Management, Economics, and Political Science.

The Li Ka Shing Professor in Public Management will be a core member of the School’s academic leadership team, working with an interdisciplinary faculty to advance the research and teaching missions of the School. A research focus on Asia is a definite plus.
