    Overview

    The world has changed. Asia, driven by the growth of its two giants, China and India, is rapidly emerging as the focal point of global politics and policy. In this dynamic environment, aspiring leaders, policymakers and opinion formers need an increasingly nuanced understanding of how different players in the region are both driving and responding to change, and what the implications are for the people of Asia and worldwide.

    The course offers an unparalleled opportunity to talk to politicians, dignitaries and experts from the region about the rise of Asia and the implication for the world. It will expose participants to first-hand insights into rapidly changing international dynamics and offer different perspectives on what this might mean for the rest of the world.

    Synopsis:

    The second run of the Temasek Foundation Water Leadership Programme (TFWLP) trained thirty-three mid and senior level professionals from the water industry on best practices in water utilities governance, effective management of water utilities, as well as potential strategies to deal with existing and future challenges. Aimed at building capacity in developing countries in Asia, the initiative is the result of a partnership between Temasek Foundation, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, and PUB (Public Utilities Board), Singapore’s national water agency.
