Water Policy Dialogue: Water Governance

Synopsis: The Institute of Water Policy’s inaugural Water Policy Dialogue takes place within the framework of the Singapore International Water Week 2009. It aims to convene water leaders around the world to discuss the achievements and challenges in water management. As part of the dialogue, the Workshop on Water Governance and presentations are open to the public to expose participants to current issues in water sector leadership and management.
New Thinking on Water Governance
Date: 1 to 3 July 2009
Synopsis: The Institute of Water Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore and the Asian Development Bank are convening a major conference to promote a new way of thinking on water governance. We invite papers which offer a fresh approach to thinking, challenges conventional wisdom and offers path breaking and novel solutions to old problems. Conceptual, theoretical, modeling and empirical work are welcome.
