The Seventh Singapore Economic Roundtable deals with economic policies and monetary policies, and includes the topics of:

• various demands in Singapore's economy;
  
• the effects of globalisation on Singapore;
  
• Singapore as a dual economy; and
  
• the growth of global industries versus domestic businesses.

One question raised at the Roundtable is: how is Singapore handling the problem of unequal distribution of the benefits of growth? The seventh Roundtable report discusses this and other questions, and will hopefully result in a more balanced distribution of income in Singapore.
