Duties and Responsibilities
Event ManagementCoordinate, administer and manage conferences as well as other IPS’s eventsResponsible for handling all aspects of event management which includes planning, budgeting, liaising with speakers, booking venues, arranging for participant registration, communicating with the media, preparing conference kits, managing event secretariats, managing the event on site, and post-event follow-ups.Assist in administrative duties such as maintaining the Institute’s database used in the invitation of participants for eventsAny other ad-hoc duties as assigned
RequirementsPossess a Degree preferably majoring in English, Mass Communications, Political Science or Business AdministrationPossess a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in Event Management. Fresh graduates with a keen interest in Event Management are welcomed to applyPossess strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skillsA good team player who is self-motivated and well-organized with the ability to work well under pressure as well as tight deadlines with minimal supervisionProficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint)Strong knowledge in Microsoft Access is an advantage
