Facebook is seeking an experienced leader to manage and execute relationships in Indonesia and the South East Asian region for the politics and government team. This role will work very closely and collaboratively with our policy colleagues in various countries. The politics and government team is an external arm of Facebook and works with the world’s governments and politicians on how to best use Facebook and its suite of products to connect with their constituents.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the team’s outreach strategy in the region including our work around elections in key countries
  • Lead strategic relationships with elected officials and campaigns in addition to being the point person with those clients on answering ongoing questions on use of Facebook and its suite of products
  • Manage implementation and optimization of trainings on how to use Facebook and its suite of products for governments and politicians
  • Collaborate extensively with XFN colleagues in sales and partnerships on strategy for key political influencers
  • Create collateral on how politicians and governments can best use Facebook
  • Be an external representative/expert for Facebook and its suite of products in the politics and government space

     

Minimum Qualification

 

  • BA/BS degree with outstanding academic performance
  • 7+ years of marketing, digital and online/social media experience
  • Experience working in or with the government or political space on work such as campaigns, political committees, media organizations or political organizations is a plus
  • Excellent project management experience, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects on deadline
  • Highly professional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to serve as a spokesperson for Facebook
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
  • Ability to work effectively and swiftly with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
