I. Job Summary:

Support the Principals by (i) monitoring policy and market development issues in the assigned space, (ii) developing materials (including data trends & analysis) for use and engagement of stakeholders in Asia Pacific, (iii) developing and maintaining communication channels/materials (e.g. website, toolkits for local associations etc.) and (iv) working on task-oriented projects that may require routine and standard information, and (v) assisting in day-to-day administration.


II. Primary Responsibilities:

 Research and media monitoring on developments related to or have potential impact to the clients.
 Develop information materials, data sets and infographics in addition to market analysis of trends
 Engage in research and preparation of position papers and reports
 Pro-actively develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
 Content development for digital media
 Maintain and update the White Rook website
 Coordinate arrangements for meetings and teleconferences and the production and distribution of materials
 Handle routine calls and public inquiries
 Assist with administrative tasks, such as compilation of contact database, preparation of finance claims, procurement of office supplies and equipment, and maintenance of file records
 Maintain continuity of office operations when the Principal is overseas or out-of-office


III. Organizational Structure:

 The Associate reports to and works under the supervision of the Principal.


IV. Skills Required:
 Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
 Must have good interpersonal skills
 Understand the principles of perception management
 Ability to generate ideas and think creatively
 Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
 Ability to organize and prioritize work under pressure
 Ability to work with detailed information
 Proficient in computer skills and use of office equipment


V. Recommended Background:
 A Degree from a reputable university. Some work experience in public affairs, consulting or related fields preferred. The Associate reports to and works under the supervision of the Principal.
