Assistant Professor Eduardo Araral wins the First Edition of this Elinor Ostrom Award on Collective Governance of the Commons
Created to honour and develop the legacy of Elinor Ostrom, the award aims to acknowledge and promote the work of practitioners, young and senior scholars involved in the field of the commons. A/Prof Ashish Lall won the NUS Annual Teaching Excellence Award
Congratulations to A/Prof Ashish Lall for winning the NUS Annual Teaching Excellence Award!
A/Prof Ashish Lall is the fourth faculty in LKY School to receive this award since 2003. Past winners from LKY School are Dr Suzaina Kadir (2011), Dr Caroline Brassard (2010), and A/Prof Kenneth Paul Tan (2004).
NUS emerged as Top in Asia according to latest QS World University Rankings by Subject
NUS is the best-performing university in Asia in the 2013 QS World University Rankings by Subject. With 12 subjects ranked top 10, NUS has secured the 8th position among universities globally in this subject ranking.

Book launch of “The Great Convergence: Asia, the West, and the Logic of One World” by Prof. Kishore Mahbubani, Dean, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy
The book launch of “The Great Convergence: Asia, the West, and the Logic of One World” by Kishore Mahbubani was held at the Shangri-la Hotel in Singapore on 25 March 2013. This is the fourth book by Kishore Mahbubani, professor and dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at National University of Singapore. It continues the assessment of the global power reversals underway.
